Set aside October 4 - 11, 2008 and get your instruments ready for 7 days of cruising the sunny Caribbean and, of course, JAMMING! October 2008 marks the fourth year that Blue Ridge Music, with the cooperation of Fugazy Travel, will host the annual Blue Ridge Music Bluegrass Jam and Cruise. The cruise will feature Workshops for banjo, guitar and mandolin and special Jam Sessions for all players.  Hosted by Blue Ridge Music's own Bobby Anderson and Three-time Guitar Flat Picking Champion Steve Kaufman!   The 2008 seven day cruise aboard the Carnival Lines ship Glory departs from Port Canaveral, FL, on Saturday, October 4 and returns the morning of Saturday, October 11 The ports of call will be Cozumel, Belize, Isla Roatan (a beach on Haiti) and Freeport, Bahamas. Like the last three years, space is limited and you must book with Helen (contact info listed below) to be eligible to participate in all the festivities and workshops. Prices per person start at  Inside Cabin  $  920  Outside Cabin  $  995  Balcony Cabin  $ 1125 Prices include commemorative t-shirt, workshops, cruise, port charges, taxes, government fees, fuel surcharge ($5 per day per person), insurance, and document shipping and handling. Transportation to the Port and Cruise is not included in these prices. A deposit is required and is refundable until May 1, 2008 minus a $50 per person cancellation fee.  After July 20, 2008 additional cancellation fees by Carnival apply.  Name changes are allowed until July 22, 2008.  A fee of $25 per change will be charged.  After that date, Carnival may charge more for changes.  Some restrictions apply. Second payment of $200 per person is due by May 6, 2008. Final payment is due before July 10, 2008.  Please note that passports are required.
